The following is the plan for ongoing development of this software.
There is no particular priority, or fixed schedule.

1) Migrate DB layer to use ADODB
2) Support MySQL 5, PostGreSQL and Oracle
3) Port onto Windows server platform
4) Replace pdflib with FPDF
5) Integrate user authentication with PAM and MS Active Directory
6) Establish formal PHP Unit Testing
7) Migrate to Smarty templating
8) Improve DB performance with query optimization
9) DB schemas should be based on ADODB XML for SQL
10) Migrate to LFXlib multi-project 
11) Multi-language support
12) PHP 5.x support
13) Commercial support available in other countries
14) AJAX interface components to improve usability
15) Use more tabs in GUI redesign for ease of use
16) Java GUI for dynamic view of Object navigation
17) More comprehensive DocBook documentation
18) Extensive documentation of API for programmers
19) Support for Zend for acceleration and encoding
